Brooklyn Public Library Information

• Students who don’t have library cards can apply for an ecard, which gives access to ebooks and online resources (not to physical books or computers). They will receive a barcode and pin immediately.

• Students who have a card but can’t find it can complete the online application, then pick up the card at any open BPL branch. They will need to bring ID and proof of address.

• Once you have a library card, download the BPL app, and enter your card info. The app will become a digital card - you can use it to place holds, check out books, scan your barcode at the library, and read your ebooks.
